13.1 Nature of AI Output

13.1 Nature of AI Output

Chariot’s outputs are generated using large-scale language and vision models, including but not limited to those developed by OpenAI and other third-party providers. These models operate on probabilistic algorithms, meaning that responses may:

  • Vary across sessions even for identical prompts;

  • Include hallucinations (confident but incorrect statements);

  • Reflect incomplete, outdated, or contextually mismatched information;

  • Lack real-world verification or factual consistency.

The AI does not possess consciousness, memory, or intent, and cannot independently validate the truth of its responses. Any use of outputs for legal, safety, diagnostic, financial, or decision-making purposes is at your sole risk. Chariot expressly disclaims any liability for harm, misinterpretation, or losses resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

Users must treat all AI responses as informational, experimental, and non-authoritative.

13.2 No Guaranteed Accuracy

13.2 No Guaranteed Accuracy

Chariot makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, correctness, or usefulness of any AI-generated output. Due to the inherent limitations of machine learning systems—including hallucinations, flawed reasoning, and unverified data sources—responses may:

  • Contain factual inaccuracies, logical errors, or misleading interpretations;

  • Omit key context, regulatory considerations, or risk factors;

  • Provide outdated or incomplete data;

  • Misunderstand industry terms, legal phrasing, or user intent.

You expressly acknowledge that any actions, decisions, or reliance based on AI-generated responses are done at your own discretion and risk. Chariot shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, liability, or adverse outcome resulting from your use of the AI output, regardless of format or perceived confidence.

13.3 No Professional Advice

13.12 OpenAI, Claude & Other Model Limitations

13.12 OpenAI, Claude & Other Model Limitations

Chariot leverages multiple third-party AI providers, including but not limited to OpenAI (e.g., GPT models), Anthropic (e.g., Claude), and other large language or vision models. These providers operate independently and may update, restrict, or modify their model behavior, training data, content moderation policies, and response patterns without advance notice.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Chariot does not own, operate, or control the internal architecture, output quality, training data, or moderation systems of these third-party models;

  • Each third-party model may produce varying, inconsistent, or contradictory results to the same input, even within a single session;

  • Limitations such as hallucination, bias, latency, censorship, or unexpected model degradation may occur and are outside Chariot’s control;

  • Chariot assumes no liability for actions, outputs, or harm arising from third-party AI responses delivered through its platform;

  • Your use of these models via Chariot is subject to their respective usage policies, content standards, and applicable disclaimers.

Chariot may update its model integrations, provider mix, or fallback systems at its sole discretion. Users should not assume any fixed model version, provider, or output fidelity.

13.13 AI Changes Over Time

13.13 AI Changes Over Time

Chariot’s Services rely on evolving machine learning models that may be retrained, upgraded, or reconfigured over time. As a result:

  • AI-generated outputs may change in phrasing, structure, tone, risk assessment, or interpretive detail, even when identical prompts are submitted at different times;

  • Chariot does not guarantee consistency or repeatability across versions, sessions, devices, or accounts;

  • Historical AI responses may not reflect current model logic, accuracy thresholds, or risk evaluations;

  • Changes may be caused by provider-side updates (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic model adjustments), Chariot’s internal tuning, usage caps, new training data, or safety overrides.

By continuing to use the platform, you acknowledge that AI systems are non-static, probabilistic, and may shift without prior notice. Chariot is not liable for decisions based on outdated or previously generated content.

13.14 Adversarial Prompts & Unexpected Results

13.14 Adversarial Prompts & Unexpected Results

You agree not to submit adversarial, deceptive, or intentionally malformed inputs with the intent to manipulate, confuse, or subvert Chariot’s AI systems. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Attempts to bypass safety filters or exploit model limitations;

  • Prompts engineered to elicit false, inflammatory, or dangerous outputs;

  • Use of obfuscated language, token stuffing, or rapid iteration to provoke unexpected behavior;

  • Queries that simulate or impersonate trusted individuals, institutions, or legal documents.

Chariot expressly disclaims any responsibility for outputs resulting from such exploitative use. You assume full liability for any harm, confusion, or consequences resulting from adversarial prompt engineering, and your account may be permanently terminated for such misuse.

13.15 External Use of AI Output

13.15 External Use of AI Output

If you distribute, share, resell, or otherwise republish any output generated by Chariot’s AI systems—including text, images, labels, or reports—on external platforms (such as social media, marketplaces, blogs, forums, or sales listings), you agree to the following:

  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, context, and interpretation of any republished output. Chariot does not review, approve, or endorse external use.

  • Disclaimers Required: You must clearly disclose that the content was generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or limitations. You must not misrepresent AI output as verified fact, certified diagnostics, or human professional advice.

  • No Warranties Inferred: Republishing Chariot content does not create or imply any warranty by Chariot regarding the quality, safety, condition, or value of any product or service described therein.

  • Legal Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your usage complies with all applicable laws, regulations, advertising standards, consumer protection rules, and platform terms where the content is shared.

Any failure to follow these conditions may result in suspension of your account, legal claims, or takedown notices.

13.16 Image Limits and Contextual Ambiguity

13.16 Image Limits and Contextual Ambiguity

Chariot’s AI vision systems analyze uploaded images using probabilistic models that may:

  • Interpret Partial Data: Only certain regions, patterns, or elements of an image may be detected or analyzed.

  • Miss Context: The AI may misinterpret lighting, angles, reflections, occlusions, or background elements, especially in outdoor, blurry, or crowded images.

  • Overlook Subtle Damage: Cracks, warps, leaks, corrosion, and other mechanical wear may not be detected unless clearly visible and in standard presentation.

Accordingly:

  • No Guarantee of Full Analysis: AI outputs should not be treated as comprehensive or professional assessments.

  • Supplement with Other Inputs: Users are strongly advised to pair image uploads with VINs, descriptions, or document inputs for broader context.

  • No Substitution for Inspection: These image-based results serve as first-pass or suggestive evaluations only. They are not a replacement for hands-on inspections by certified professionals.

You acknowledge and accept that the AI’s interpretation of visual data is inherently limited, non-diagnostic, and subject to significant error without full environmental context.

13.17 Composite Output Risk

13.17 Composite Output Risk

Chariot’s full reports often aggregate multiple forms of analysis, including VIN decoding, photo evaluation, document parsing, and chat-based AI insight. These rely on separate model calls and may result in:

  • Inconsistencies Across Sections: Different AI components may interpret the same data differently or apply separate standards, resulting in internal contradictions or overlapping flags.

  • Conflicting Recommendations: Risk summaries may not align perfectly with valuation guidance or visual condition estimates.

  • Layered Dependencies: Some outputs may be based on inferred data from earlier sections, amplifying minor input errors.

Accordingly:

  • No Output is Independently Guaranteed: All sections are subject to probabilistic variance and should be reviewed as components of a larger informational snapshot—not definitive truth.

  • User Discretion Required: It is your responsibility to interpret the full report with caution, context awareness, and supplemental verification.

Chariot disclaims liability for reliance on any single portion of a report without considering the broader context or potential inconsistencies among AI-generated sections.

13.18 No Liability for AI Harm

13.18 No Liability for AI Harm

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chariot disclaims all liability for any:

  • Physical harm, mechanical failure, or vehicle damage resulting from AI-generated advice, diagnostics, or recommendations;

  • Financial losses, including diminished resale value, mispriced purchases, denied insurance claims, or repair expenses stemming from AI output;

  • Legal or regulatory violations, including misuse of content in jurisdictions with restrictions on AI use;

  • Reputational harm, including damage to personal or business reputation resulting from shared or publicly posted AI output;

  • Third-party reliance, where others act on AI-generated content you shared or distributed.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that Chariot’s AI systems are experimental, probabilistic, and not human-reviewed. You agree that:

  • AI output should not be relied upon as the sole basis for critical decisions, including purchase, sale, repair, legal action, or compliance.

  • You bear full responsibility for verifying any AI output before taking or recommending action.

  • Chariot has no duty to pre-screen, validate, or approve model responses before they are delivered.

This clause survives termination of your account and remains enforceable in all jurisdictions that recognize contractual AI disclaimers.

13.19 Optional Manual Review

13.19 Optional Manual Review

Chariot may, at its discretion and subject to availability, offer optional manual or human-audited reviews for certain reports, documents, or chat interactions. These may include:

  • Manual review of vehicle photo assessments

  • Human-aided VIN or document interpretation

  • Expert-assisted responses or verification for premium tiers

Unless explicitly stated at the time of use, all Chariot outputs are fully AI-generated and do not undergo human review, moderation, or validation. You agree and acknowledge that:

  • Manual review is not guaranteed and may be limited based on your subscription tier, report type, or availability of qualified reviewers.

  • The presence of a human in the loop does not constitute a warranty of correctness, completeness, or compliance.

  • Where outputs are solely AI-generated (including chat replies, vehicle condition estimates, or document summaries), no human editing or vetting has taken place.

Use of optional manual review features does not transfer liability to Chariot for any decisions made based on output, regardless of whether the content was human-assisted or not.

13.20 Survival

13.20 Survival

All disclaimers outlined in this Section 13 — including those related to AI accuracy, liability, professional advice, jurisdictional limitations, and experimental features — shall survive the termination, suspension, or deactivation of your account.

These disclaimers apply retroactively and prospectively to:

  • All AI-generated content you have received or interacted with,
