16.1 Model Flexibility

Chariot may use any combination of proprietary, licensed, or third-party models (e.g., OpenAI GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini) to power its AI features. Models may change at any time without prior notice.

16.2 No Fixed Output Guarantee

AI responses are inherently non-deterministic. You may receive different responses to the same prompt across sessions. Chariot makes no guarantee of consistency, even within the same model version.

16.3 Scheduled & Experimental Model Upgrades

We may introduce experimental upgrades, feature flags, or regional tests of newer AI models. These changes may temporarily affect performance, behavior, or reliability.

16.4 Behavioral Drift Disclaimer

AI models evolve as training data, tuning strategies, and prompt injection layers change. You acknowledge that behavioral drift is normal and expected. Chariot is not liable for shifts in tone, format, detail, or conclusions.

16.5 Transparency of Model Changes

When possible, we will inform users of major underlying model transitions, especially if they result in pricing, token, or capability changes. Minor updates may be silent.

16.6 Custom Instructions and Persona Shifts

Future versions of Chariot may include personalized behavior or fine-tuned personas. These features may affect tone, depth, or focus of AI output and may evolve without advance notice.

16.7 Model Downgrades During Abuse or Outage

In case of system abuse, billing issues, or infrastructure constraints, Chariot may temporarily revert to smaller or restricted models (e.g., GPT-3.5) to maintain availability.

16.8 Model Licensing Terms

Chariot complies with the terms of use of its AI providers. You agree to abide by those terms indirectly as part of your use of Chariot services.

16.9 AI Model Usage Allocation by Tier

Different subscription tiers may access different AI models or capabilities. Model access is subject to fair-use limits, performance balancing, and business availability.

16.10 No Rights to Specific Model Access

You have no guaranteed right to access any particular model version, including OpenAI’s GPT-4o, Claude 3, or Chariot’s internal variants. Chariot may upgrade, swap, or restrict models at its discretion.

16.11 Backward Incompatibility

New model upgrades may break prior outputs, chat behavior, or report generation structure. You accept that backward compatibility may not be preserved.

16.12 Legacy Output Disclaimers

Previously generated reports or chat threads may no longer reflect the behavior of the current AI engine. Always check report timestamps and output generation version for context.

16.13 Beta Access Terms

If you participate in model beta testing, you agree to abide by additional confidentiality, performance, or feedback clauses provided as part of the beta enrollment.

16.14 Model Attribution and Disclosure

Where required by licensing (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic), Chariot will display appropriate model origin tags or attributions. You may not remove or obscure these in redistributed content.

16.15 Model Stability Notices

Model transitions may temporarily affect output reliability, latency, or formatting. You agree that these fluctuations are part of the service lifecycle.

16.16 Accuracy Degradation Risks

Some newer models may prioritize natural tone or interactivity over strict accuracy. You acknowledge this tradeoff and agree to use results for informational purposes only.

16.17 Model Drift & Legal Risk

You are solely responsible for verifying all outputs before acting on them. Changes in model behavior do not absolve your responsibility to conduct your own due diligence.

16.18 Temporary Feature Rollbacks

AI features may be paused or rolled back during compliance audits, vendor outages, or performance anomalies. No compensation will be provided for temporary reductions in functionality.

16.19 Feedback Integration

User feedback on model behavior may be used to influence future fine-tuning or rejection behavior. By submitting prompt and rating data, you grant Chariot permission to adapt its models accordingly.

16.20 Survival & Ongoing Disclosure

This section survives any plan change or account closure and applies to all AI-related features past, present, and future.
