23.1 What Is a One-Time Report We Collect
23.1 What Is a One-Time Report
A “One-Time Report” refers to a standalone, premium vehicle intelligence product generated by Chariot upon user request. Unlike subscription-based access, this report is:
Individually priced (typically between $14.99 and $49.99 depending on depth)
Delivered on-demand, not recurring
Generated using AI models applied to user-submitted assets such as:
Vehicle photos
VIN entries
Scanned purchase documents or warranties
Uploaded maintenance or title records
Each report includes AI-driven assessments such as cosmetic and mechanical condition summaries, flagged risks, document analysis, and price/value comparisons. The report is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, mechanical, or financial certification.
23.2 Pricing Structure
23.2 Pricing Structure
Chariot’s One-Time Reports are sold through a fixed-tier pricing system. Each tier reflects the level of analysis, model calls, and content depth provided at the time of purchase. Pricing is displayed clearly before checkout and may vary by region, platform, or promotional period.
23.2.1 Current Pricing Tiers
Standard Report — $14.99 USD
Basic vehicle profile with VIN decoding, summary-level condition and risk insight, and foundational AI evaluation. Suitable for low-stakes, early-stage research.Premium Report — $29.99 USD
Expanded analysis including layered risk detection, document parsing (e.g., warranty PDFs), image evaluation (if submitted), and resale-impact commentary.Max Insight Report — $49.99 USD
Full-stack output including advanced cross-input correlation, contract flagging, in-depth research queries, and broader diagnostic interpretation. Intended for serious buyers or sellers requiring detailed intelligence.
Report tiers and their contents are described in Section 23.3 – What’s Included.
23.2.2 Price Adjustments
Chariot reserves the right to:
Modify report pricing;
Add or remove tiers;
Run limited-time discounts or promotions;
Adjust regional pricing to account for taxes, currency exchange, or platform fees.
Any changes will apply only to future purchases and do not affect reports already purchased.
23.2.3 Platform and Tax Disclosures
Prices shown may include or exclude sales tax, VAT, or platform commission (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).
Final checkout amounts will reflect all applicable fees.
Chariot does not control third-party platform policies or commissions.
23.2.4 Purchase Scope
Purchasing a report unlocks access to that report’s features as described at the time of purchase.
It does not grant access to subscription-only features or future add-ons unless clearly bundled.
Report access and usage terms are governed by Sections 23.10 and 23.11.
23.2.5 Final Sale Policy
All One-Time Report purchases are final and non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law. See Section 23.5 – Refund Policy for jurisdiction-specific exceptions.
Ready for next section. Drop 23.3 or whichever one you want refined next.
23.3 What’s Included
23.3 What’s Included
Each Chariot One-Time Report delivers a bundle of AI-generated insights tailored to the report tier selected at purchase. All outputs are informational in nature and designed to support—not replace—professional evaluation. Report components may vary depending on the quality and completeness of user-submitted data (e.g., photos, VINs, documents).
23.3.1 Core Features (All Tiers)

Multi-layered analysis using composite model calls and contextual linking between VIN data, contract wording, and visual evidence.
23.3.4 No Guarantee of Completeness
Chariot’s AI attempts to provide relevant outputs based on available input, but does not guarantee:
That all input files will be usable or legible
That every report will contain every insight type
That visual, textual, or metadata-based anomalies will be detected
Incomplete uploads or missing context may limit the depth or relevance of a given report.
23.3.5 Clarification of Report Scope
Reports do not include:
Mechanical diagnostics or performance data
Official vehicle history (e.g., DMV title records, lien checks)
Legal conclusions or appraisals
Any form of certified inspection, valuation, or insurance-grade documentation
Reports are informational summaries only, per Section 23.6 – Output Is Informational.
23.4 Delivery Time
23.4 Delivery Time
Chariot strives to deliver One-Time Reports quickly and reliably. However, report generation depends on multiple factors, including file size, input quality, AI system load, and model queue traffic at the time of submission.
23.4.1 Typical Processing Window
Under normal conditions:
Most reports are delivered within 2 to 10 minutes of successful input upload and payment confirmation.
Shorter reports (e.g., Standard tier without uploads) may be generated more quickly.
Reports that involve document parsing, image analysis, or Max Insight features may require additional time to complete.
23.4.2 Variables That May Affect Timing
Delivery time may be extended due to:
High system demand or model queue congestion
Large or corrupted input files (e.g., high-resolution images or multi-page PDFs)
Incomplete or invalid inputs, requiring validation fallback
Platform-related throttling or third-party API delays
Scheduled maintenance or unexpected outages
Chariot does not guarantee delivery within a fixed timeframe and is not responsible for delays caused by system load, infrastructure issues, or user-side submission errors.
23.4.3 No Real-Time Guarantees
Report generation is asynchronous. Chariot does not provide:
Real-time results
Instant previews
ETA countdowns
Continuous output streaming
You will receive a notification or screen update once your report is ready, based on your platform (in-app alert, email, or browser refresh).
23.4.4 Delivery Failure and Retrying
If a report fails to generate within 30 minutes due to internal error (not user input error), Chariot may:
Automatically retry generation
Notify you of required input correction
Issue a fallback report with partial data
Offer a one-time reprocessing option at no charge
These remedies are at Chariot’s discretion and do not constitute a refund. See Section 23.5 – Refund Policy.
23.4.5 Submission Timestamp
The delivery window begins only after all required inputs are successfully submitted (e.g., VIN, images, documents) and payment is confirmed. Time elapsed during data upload or file preparation is not included in delivery estimates.
23.5 Refund Policy
23.5 Refund Policy
All purchases of Chariot One-Time Reports are final and non-refundable, except under the specific circumstances outlined below. By completing a transaction, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital informational product delivered via automated AI systems and agree to the following terms:
23.5.1 No Refunds for Satisfied or Partial Deliveries
Refunds will not be issued under the following conditions:
The report was successfully generated and delivered, even if the insights did not meet your expectations.
You selected a lower-tier report and later wished to upgrade.
You submitted poor-quality, incomplete, or incompatible input data (e.g., blurry images, wrong VIN).
You changed your mind after purchase or found similar information elsewhere.
You were unaware of feature limitations, despite descriptions available in Section 23.3 – What’s Included.
23.5.2 Valid Refund Circumstances
You may be eligible for a refund only if one of the following applies:
Complete Generation Failure:
The report failed to generate entirely due to a verified internal system error and no output—partial or complete—was delivered within 60 minutes.Billing Error or Duplicate Charge:
You were charged more than once for the same report due to a processing error. Proof of transaction may be required.Platform-Specific Error:
A technical issue occurred on Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or web checkout that resulted in billing without content delivery.
Chariot reserves the right to verify all claims using system logs, timestamps, and server diagnostics.
23.5.3 Where to Request Refunds
Your method of refund request depends on where the purchase was made:
iOS (Apple App Store):
Refunds must be requested directly through Apple’s support portal, per Apple’s policies. Chariot cannot issue refunds for Apple purchases.Android (Google Play Store):
Refunds must be requested through Google Play support, subject to Google’s terms.Web Purchases:
If you purchased via the Chariot website or direct portal, you may submit a refund request by contacting support@chariotreport.com within 7 days of purchase.
Refunds will only be considered if the request includes:
The email used at purchase
Purchase date and platform
Reason for refund
Supporting documentation (if applicable)
23.5.4 Discretionary and One-Time Refunds
Chariot may, at its sole discretion, issue a one-time courtesy refund for eligible users, even when not strictly required under the above terms. This does not constitute a waiver of policy and may not be repeated.
23.5.5 No Chargebacks for Valid Deliveries
Initiating a chargeback or dispute through your payment provider for a successfully delivered report violates these Terms and may result in permanent account suspension and legal enforcement of payment.
23.5.6 Refund Timeline and Method
Approved refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear on your original payment method. Chariot is not responsible for additional processing time imposed by banks, card issuers, or platform intermediaries.
23.6 Output Is Informational Only
23.6 Output Is Informational Only
Chariot’s One-Time Reports are generated using automated, AI-driven analysis tools and are provided strictly for informational and personal use only. You agree and acknowledge that these outputs:
23.6.1 Not a Legal or Official Document
Are not certified, notarized, or reviewed by a licensed human expert.
Are not recognized by government agencies, Departments of Motor Vehicles (DMV), insurance providers, financial institutions, or courts of law as official documentation.
Cannot be submitted as formal evidence for legal disputes, insurance claims, lien verification, vehicle transfers, or regulatory compliance.
23.6.2 Not a Valuation or Appraisal
Chariot does not offer legally binding valuations or professional appraisals. Any pricing guidance, resale estimate, or market benchmark is based on AI-calculated approximations and does not reflect certified third-party opinions, dealership inspections, or IRS appraisal standards.
23.6.3 Not a Mechanical or Diagnostic Inspection
The report is not a substitute for a physical inspection by a certified mechanic, auto body specialist, or safety inspector. It does not:
Assess roadworthiness, emissions compliance, or mechanical integrity
Perform OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) scans
Detect non-visible issues like leaks, engine wear, suspension damage, or fluid health
AI outputs are based solely on uploaded data (e.g., photos, documents, VINs), and do not involve any hardware-based or sensory diagnostics.
23.6.4 No Professional Advice
Chariot does not provide:
Legal counsel
Financial advisories
Insurance guidance
Dealership negotiation strategy
Investment advice related to automobile purchases or sales
All suggestions or flags surfaced in a report are general in nature and may not apply to your specific situation or region.
23.6.5 No Reliance or Warranty
You understand and agree that:
The report may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
You assume full responsibility for interpreting the report and making final decisions.
Chariot shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or consequence resulting from your reliance on any part of the report.
This disclaimer is reinforced by the broader liability limitations described in Section 13.18 – No Liability for AI Harm.
23.7 Output Accuracy Disclaimer
23.7 Output Accuracy Disclaimer
Chariot’s vehicle reports are powered by probabilistic AI systems that analyze user-submitted inputs, external databases, and model inference chains. Despite using advanced language, vision, and document analysis models, Chariot makes no guarantee of factual accuracy, valuation precision, or defect detection completeness in any report.
23.7.1 Input-Dependent Accuracy
Output quality is directly influenced by the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of the user’s submitted inputs, including:
VIN data (Vehicle Identification Number)
Uploaded images (e.g., blurry, low-light, or angled photos may distort analysis)
PDF documents, contracts, or screenshots
Chat prompts, manual entries, or improperly formatted text
Incomplete, incorrect, or low-quality inputs may significantly degrade the relevance and reliability of generated insights.
23.7.2 Model Limitations and Behavioral Drift
Chariot’s AI models may generate outputs that reflect estimates, inferred assumptions, or incorrect conclusions based on pattern recognition, not verified fact.
Outputs may vary across sessions or report types, especially as the system is updated or tuned.
Differences between reports—especially those generated at different times or using different input sets—do not indicate system failure or inconsistency, but are a known effect of AI-driven reasoning behavior.
23.7.3 No Guaranteed Detection
You acknowledge and agree that:
Some defects, damages, or inconsistencies may go undetected due to limited input scope or image visibility.
Reports may fail to identify subtle or hidden issues, including—but not limited to—mileage rollbacks, flood exposure, mechanical failure, contract loopholes, or dealer misrepresentation.
Risk flags and summaries are generated by probabilistic logic, not human verification.
23.7.4 No Representations of Accuracy or Currency
Chariot does not represent that:
Market benchmarks or pricing insights reflect real-time market fluctuations
Uploaded document insights reflect current legal enforceability or policy compliance
AI commentary reflects the views of professionals, inspectors, or valuation experts
Estimates and summaries may be based on outdated, incomplete, or approximated external data and may contain errors of fact, logic, or formatting.
23.7.5 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
Interpreting the report holistically (see Section 13.17 – Composite Output Risk)
Supplementing the report with certified inspections, dealer records, or expert review
Making purchase, sale, or repair decisions with full awareness of report limitations
Use of Chariot outputs is at your own risk. No output should be treated as definitive, certified, or final in nature.
23.8 Required Inputs
23.8 Required Inputs
To generate a Chariot vehicle report, users must submit sufficient data for analysis. The quality, completeness, and format of your inputs directly affect the scope, reliability, and success of your report. You acknowledge that failure to provide the necessary inputs may result in limited output, partial reports, or processing failure.
23.8.1 Minimum Required Inputs
To initiate report generation, you must submit at least one of the following input combinations, depending on the features you want unlocked:
A valid VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), OR
A visible license plate number (front or rear, in high-resolution photo), AND
AND one of the following visual inputs:
A set of 3–6 clear, unedited photos of the vehicle, ideally including:
Front angle
Rear angle
Driver side
Passenger side
Dashboard or interior view
Close-up of tires or known damage (if applicable)
These are essential for image-based risk analysis, condition estimates, and AI vision assessment.
23.8.2 Optional but Recommended Inputs
To unlock deeper insights (available in Premium and Max Insight tiers), users are encouraged to upload:
Sales or purchase contracts (e.g., PDFs, scans, screenshots)
Extended warranty documents
Service records, repair invoices, or maintenance logs
Dealer quotes or third-party offers
Uploading these files enables AI-powered document parsing, contract risk detection, and pricing flag analysis.
23.8.3 File Format Guidelines
Image files must be in JPEG (.jpg) or PNG (.png) format.
Document files must be in PDF format.
Scanned images should be legible and oriented correctly.
Screenshots are allowed but may reduce extraction quality if cropped or pixelated.
Unsupported formats (e.g., DOCX, HEIC, TIFF, zipped folders) may result in input rejection or reduced report quality.
23.8.4 Incomplete or Low-Quality Inputs
If required fields are missing, unreadable, or low resolution:
Chariot may automatically reject the request without generating a report
You may receive a limited or truncated output
No refund will be issued (see Section 23.5 – Refund Policy)
You are responsible for ensuring that all required inputs are accurate, complete, and properly formatted prior to submission.
23.8.5 Input Retention
Submitted inputs may be temporarily stored for processing, auditing, abuse prevention, or quality improvement (see Section 14.1 – Prompt Collection and Storage). Uploaded content is subject to Chariot’s data policy and may be anonymized for system training and safety tuning.
23.9 Storage and Access
23.9 Storage and Access
Chariot retains generated One-Time Reports in your account for a limited period. This section outlines how long you may access your reports, what content is stored, and your responsibilities for long-term retention.
23.9.1 Report Access Duration
Each report you purchase will remain available in your Chariot dashboard or account for up to 90 calendar days from the time of generation.
After 90 days, access may be removed without notice, and Chariot has no obligation to re-store, reprocess, or re-send any expired reports.
23.9.2 Download Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
Downloading, saving, or exporting your report if long-term access is required.
Ensuring any backups, PDFs, or third-party shares are preserved independently of Chariot’s platform.
Chariot does not guarantee indefinite storage and does not provide archival services.
23.9.3 What Is Stored
The following data may be stored during the 90-day window:
The generated AI report content
Uploaded files and associated metadata
Processing logs and model output (for auditing or dispute resolution)
Report access timestamps
This data is governed by Chariot’s storage and privacy terms (see Section 14 – Prompt Logging & Internal Use).
23.9.4 Expired Report Handling
Once a report expires:
It may be deleted, archived, or rendered inaccessible.
Regeneration may require re-uploading all inputs and re-purchasing the report.
Chariot makes no guarantee that expired reports can or will be recovered—even if requested.
23.9.5 Early Removal
Chariot may delete or restrict access to a report earlier than 90 days if:
The user’s account is terminated or suspended
A report is found to violate content rules or misuse policies
Legal, compliance, or takedown requirements arise
Chariot shall not be liable for any data loss due to such early removal.
23.10 Access Limits per Purchase
23.10 Access Limits per Purchase
Each Chariot One-Time Report purchase grants access to a single AI-generated report session, tied to a specific vehicle input set. This section defines the boundaries of that access and outlines what constitutes a separate session requiring additional payment.
23.10.1 Single Vehicle, Single Report
A report purchase entitles you to generate and access one report based on the initial vehicle data submitted, including VIN, license plate, and/or uploaded images or documents.
The report is locked to this vehicle context and cannot be reused or extended for a different car, even if the new vehicle is in the same household, dealership, or customer flow.
23.10.2 Session Locking
Once processing begins, the report is considered bound to the first complete input set received.
Submitting new or unrelated inputs after generation does not create a second report or refresh the session.
Examples that would require a new purchase:
Uploading images of a different vehicle (e.g., second car on the lot)
Submitting a new VIN after a previous report is generated
Attempting to reuse a Max Insight report for another sale listing or buyer
23.10.3 Misuse or Input Rotation
Chariot actively monitors for input-swapping behavior or attempts to rotate multiple vehicles through a single report purchase. This includes:
Uploading multiple sets of images in quick succession
Changing the VIN or plate after report generation
Using generic filenames or file metadata to conceal vehicle identity
Such misuse may result in report invalidation, access revocation, or account suspension under Section 14.3 – Abuse Monitoring.
23.10.4 Shared Access Scope
You may:
Share your generated report externally (e.g., with a buyer, dealer, or partner)
Download it for personal records
Use it as part of a sales listing or contract discussion (see Section 13.15 – External Use of AI Output)
However, this shared usage does not entitle others to submit new inputs under your purchase. Each user, session, and car requires its own purchase if additional reports are desired.
23.10.5 No Transfer or Expansion
Reports are non-transferable across vehicles, accounts, or time periods.
Purchasing a higher-tier report (e.g., Max Insight) does not grant multi-use rights or access to a vehicle bundle.
To receive a new analysis for a different vehicle or input set, you must initiate a new paid session.
23.11 Sharing & Redistribution
23.11 Sharing & Redistribution
Chariot vehicle reports are licensed, not sold. By purchasing or accessing a report, you receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use only, subject to the restrictions outlined below.
23.11.1 Personal Use License
You may:
Access and read your report within your Chariot account
Download or screenshot the report for your own reference
Share the report privately with a relevant third party (e.g., car buyer, mechanic, lender, or insurer) for the purpose of evaluating the specific vehicle covered
All other uses are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing.
23.11.2 Prohibited Redistribution and Commercial Use
Unless granted prior written consent by Chariot Technologies LLC, you may not:
Publish the report publicly, including on forums, listing websites, marketplaces, or social media platforms
Resell or sub-license the report to a third party
Bundle Chariot reports with commercial offerings, dealer services, or lead generation tools
Use the report in advertising, sales funnels, product packaging, or AI marketplaces
Reverse engineer or extract data from the report for use in another application or product
Violating these conditions may result in legal action, including copyright takedown notices, civil claims, or permanent account suspension.
23.11.3 Branding and Attribution
All Chariot reports contain embedded branding, model attributions, and disclaimers. You may not:
Remove, alter, obscure, or overwrite any branding, disclaimers, timestamps, or AI disclosure language
Present Chariot reports as if authored or verified by a human expert, mechanic, or valuation professional
Reframe, white-label, or misrepresent Chariot-generated output as your own work or original content
23.11.4 Permitted B2B Usage (Conditional)
If you are a dealership, repair shop, appraisal firm, vehicle data platform, or enterprise partner interested in commercial redistribution of Chariot reports:
You must enter into a separate licensing agreement with Chariot
All reports used in this context must be generated under a B2B API license or white-label partnership
Unauthorized commercial usage of consumer-tier reports is a violation of Chariot’s terms and may trigger enforcement action
23.11.5 Enforcement and Audit Rights
Chariot reserves the right to:
Track report usage and access logs
Detect and block attempts to mass-copy, scrape, or repost content
Issue DMCA takedowns, copyright infringement claims, or legal notices to violators
You agree to cooperate with any reasonable inquiry regarding your use or redistribution of Chariot-generated outputs.
23.12 PDF Export
Here is the fully expanded, output-controlled, and legally compliant version of Section 23.12 – PDF Export, structured to lock in branding, prevent misuse, and clarify usage boundaries:
23.12 PDF Export
Chariot provides the ability to download completed vehicle reports in PDF format for personal and transactional purposes. These exports are subject to license restrictions and embedded attribution to maintain content integrity and traceability.
23.12.1 Permitted Uses of PDF Reports
You may export and use the PDF version of your report for:
Personal recordkeeping
Private sharing with relevant parties, such as:
A potential buyer or seller
A mechanic or repair technician
A lender, insurer, or lease evaluator
A dealership or sales partner
Supporting negotiations or decision-making related to the specific vehicle in the report
All uses must remain non-commercial and limited to the originally analyzed vehicle.
23.12.2 Embedded Branding and Disclaimers
Each PDF includes:
Chariot logos and visual identity
Timestamp and session ID metadata
Disclaimers regarding AI usage, accuracy limits, and non-diagnostic status
Attribution of the report as AI-generated (per Section 13.15 – External Use of AI Output)
You may not:
Remove, crop, obscure, or alter any branding, disclaimers, or attribution text
Misrepresent the PDF as human-authored, certified, or affiliated with a regulatory body
Strip metadata or embed it into another branded PDF report or platform
Doing so may result in report invalidation and account penalties under Sections 14.3 and 23.11.
23.12.3 Redistribution Prohibited
PDF reports are not authorized for public publishing, resale, or platform redistribution (e.g., listing on third-party sites, bundling in commercial products, or advertising inventory). Any such activity constitutes a violation of the report license.
See Section 23.11 – Sharing & Redistribution for full limitations.
23.12.4 PDF Availability Window
PDF downloads are only available during the report’s active storage period (see Section 23.9 – Storage and Access). After report expiration, the PDF may no longer be accessible and must be retrieved in advance.
23.12.5 Verification and Watermarking
Chariot may embed invisible or visible watermarking into PDFs to trace usage, validate source authenticity, and detect unauthorized distribution.
Tampering with watermarking, signatures, or report IDs constitutes misuse and may trigger platform penalties or legal response.
Ready for the next section block (e.g., 24.1 – Subscription Tokens, 25.x – Payments & Trials, or whichever header you’re building next).
23.13 Re-analysis or Revisions
23.13 Re-analysis or Revisions
Chariot reports are generated as one-time, input-specific outputs. Once a report is produced, it is final and locked to the submitted data. Chariot does not provide free revisions, updates, or re-analysis, regardless of changes in vehicle condition, document updates, or user dissatisfaction.
23.13.1 No Free Reprocessing
Chariot does not offer:
Re-runs or refreshed reports using the same inputs
Edits to fix perceived errors in AI interpretation
Free updates when new photos, documents, or corrections are submitted after purchase
Real-time revision requests, prompts, or post-hoc clarifications
Every new analysis request—regardless of similarity to a previous one—requires a separate, valid report purchase.
23.13.2 Changing Inputs Requires New Purchase
If you:
Upload new or corrected vehicle photos
Submit a different VIN or plate
Provide an updated contract, warranty, or repair invoice
Want analysis after a vehicle is repaired, detailed, damaged, or resold
...then a new One-Time Report purchase is required, even if the vehicle appears similar to a previously analyzed one.
23.13.3 Clarification vs. Re-analysis
Users seeking clarification of language or help interpreting a completed report may use in-app support or helpdesk channels, but this does not entitle you to a regenerated report or correction of model output.
Chariot does not edit, redact, or manually revise existing reports unless a data privacy violation or platform-level bug is confirmed.
23.13.4 Exceptions (Platform Errors Only)
In rare cases where a report:
Fails to process entirely
Contains zero usable content due to internal system fault
Was matched to an incorrect input file due to backend error
...Chariot may, at its sole discretion, regenerate the report at no additional cost. This is not guaranteed and does not apply to user-side input errors.
23.13.5 Abuse Prevention
Repeated requests for "corrections," "minor updates," or regenerated reports using alternate uploads may be flagged as abuse under Section 14.3 – Abuse Monitoring. Attempting to cycle through multiple vehicles or input scenarios using a single purchase violates the access terms set in Section 23.10.
23.14 Technical Failure Handling
23.14 Technical Failure Handling
Chariot monitors report generation infrastructure for errors, crashes, and system anomalies. In the event of a technical failure that prevents successful report delivery, users may be eligible for a one-time retry or limited remediation, as outlined below.
23.14.1 Definition of Technical Failure
A report is considered to have failed due to a technical issue only if:
The model engine crashes before generation is completed
Input files are irreversibly corrupted or unreadable at the system level (not user error)
Backend processes fail due to queuing issues, API errors, or infrastructure downtime
No output (partial or complete) is rendered within 60 minutes
Minor delays, reduced content, or aesthetic formatting issues do not qualify as technical failures.
23.14.2 User Reattempt Policy
If a valid technical failure occurs:
You may retry generation using the same inputs within 24 hours of your initial attempt
Retry must occur within the same session or account context
Chariot may offer an automated or support-assisted reprocessing mechanism if available
Retry eligibility is voided if you attempt to swap out input data (e.g., upload different photos or change the VIN).
23.14.3 Contacting Support
If automated retry fails or the session is blocked:
You may email support@chariotreport.com with the following details:
Purchase receipt or transaction ID
Timestamp of submission
Input method used (VIN, images, documents)
Error message or behavior observed
Support inquiries must be submitted within 48 hours of the failed attempt
Chariot may verify claims using server logs, file metadata, and session activity.
23.14.4 Exclusions and Non-Eligible Failures
The following scenarios are not eligible for retry or regeneration:
User-submitted files that are blank, encrypted, or improperly formatted
Network issues on the user’s device or during upload
Photos that are dark, unreadable, or unrelated to the claimed vehicle
Misuse of the platform, including multi-car rotation or prompt injection attempts
See Section 23.13 – Re-analysis or Revisions and Section 14.3 – Abuse Monitoring for enforcement terms.
23.14.5 No Guarantee of Retry Outcome
Reattempted reports are subject to the same AI variability and input quality constraints as initial submissions. Chariot does not guarantee that a retry will produce a materially different or improved result.
23.14.6 No Additional Liability
Chariot’s responsibility is limited to offering a single reattempt or credit issuance (at its discretion). No further compensation, refund, or liability will be assumed for failures caused by technical interruptions.
23.15 User Misuse Warning
23.15 User Misuse Warning
Chariot strictly prohibits the submission of fraudulent, misleading, or irrelevant content for the purpose of generating vehicle reports. By using the platform, you agree not to upload false, AI-generated, stock, or unrelated vehicle materials in an attempt to test, exploit, or spoof the reporting system.
23.15.1 Prohibited Submission Types
You may not upload:
AI-generated images created via Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar tools
Stock photos or reused marketplace images from unrelated vehicles
Blank, digitally manipulated, or tampered images
Documents fabricated or edited to simulate dealership paperwork
VINs belonging to vehicles you do not own or intend to analyze
Photos of toy cars, artwork, or fictional vehicles
These behaviors are considered intentional misuse and are subject to enforcement without notice.
23.15.2 Enforcement Action
If misuse is detected, Chariot may:
Invalidate the associated report and block access
Suspend or terminate your user account
Revoke platform privileges, including chat, uploads, and PDF exports
Permanently ban your payment method or device ID
These actions may be taken without refund and without further warning, in accordance with Section 14.3 – Abuse Monitoring and Section 20 – Image/Document Abuse.
23.15.3 Intent Matters
Attempting to “test” the AI by submitting fake or abstract content (e.g., uploading a picture of a couch, cartoon car, or unrelated asset to see how the system responds) is considered adversarial behavior under Section 13.14 – Adversarial Prompts.
Even if no harm is intended, this activity consumes system resources and degrades reliability for legitimate users.
23.15.4 No Refund for Misuse
If a report was generated using intentionally fake, deceptive, or misrepresentative inputs:
No refund will be issued, regardless of outcome
No support claims will be honored, and the report will be marked invalid
Repeat misuse may result in legal action or notification to platform providers
Chariot reserves the right to retain all session logs, metadata, and prompt history for compliance and fraud response purposes.
23.16 Fraud Prevention
23.16 Fraud Prevention
To protect the integrity of Chariot’s platform and maintain fair usage, Chariot monitors user behavior, purchase patterns, and device activity for signs of fraud, scraping, or coordinated abuse. Suspicious usage may result in delayed processing, temporary holds, or blocked access pending manual or automated review.
23.16.1 Flagged Account or Device Behavior
Report purchases may be subject to review, delay, or denial if they originate from:
Accounts with a history of refund abuse or chargebacks
Devices previously used for ToS violations or adversarial prompting
Repeated report generation using inconsistent or mismatched vehicle inputs
Multiple attempts to re-upload altered versions of the same car
Resale or syndication behavior suggesting bulk scraping or unauthorized redistribution
23.16.2 Temporary Holds or Verification
In cases of suspected fraud:
Chariot may place a temporary processing hold on your purchase
You may be required to verify your input data, payment source, or account identity
You may be restricted from accessing chat, report generation, or downloads until the review is complete
Chariot is not liable for delays caused by this review process. See Section 23.4 – Delivery Time and Section 14.3 – Abuse Monitoring.
23.16.3 Blocked or Banned Access
Depending on the severity of detected behavior, Chariot reserves the right to:
Permanently block access from your device ID, IP address, or email
Ban further purchases or generation attempts from your payment method
Report behavior to payment processors or app store platforms
Pursue civil or legal enforcement if malicious automation or fraud is confirmed
This may occur without refund and without further notice.
23.16.4 No Circumvention
Any attempt to bypass fraud detection—such as by:
Creating multiple accounts
Using VPNs, proxy servers, or burner devices
Rotating email addresses or payment profiles
...will be treated as intentional circumvention and escalated under Chariot’s enforcement framework.
23.16.5 Cooperation with Authorities
Chariot may retain and submit fraud-related logs, session data, and purchase records to:
Law enforcement agencies
Platform security teams (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe)
Financial fraud bureaus and consumer protection authorities
You consent to this disclosure by using the platform.
23.17 No Trial Access
23.17 No Trial Access
Chariot’s One-Time Reports are excluded from all free trial entitlements and are not included in standard subscription plans unless expressly stated. These reports are pay-per-use digital products and must be purchased separately.
23.17.1 Trial Plans Do Not Include Reports
Free trials for Chariot’s subscription features—such as AI chat, diagnostic tools, or limited VIN lookups—do not include access to:
Standard, Premium, or Max Insight reports
Image-based condition assessments
Contract or warranty parsing
PDF downloads of any report tier
Attempting to generate a report while on a free trial will prompt a standalone purchase screen.
23.17.2 Subscriptions Exclude One-Time Reports
Unless explicitly bundled as part of a promotional offer or limited-time package, regular subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, Annual) do not cover or unlock Chariot reports. All report tiers must be purchased separately.
This ensures:
Users pay only for the specific reports they need
Report demand does not overwhelm infrastructure during trial phases
Trial abuse and bulk data scraping are mitigated
See Section 23.2 – Pricing Structure for current report rates.
23.17.3 Promotional Bundles (If Offered)
Chariot may, at its sole discretion, run limited promotions where a subscription plan includes one or more report credits. In these cases:
The bundle terms will be clearly disclosed at the time of checkout
Access will apply only to the report tier stated (e.g., Standard only)
Unused report credits may expire at the end of the billing cycle
Such promotions are not retroactively applied to previous purchases or existing subscriptions.
23.17.4 Attempted Bypass Prohibited
Attempts to bypass report payment—such as:
Manually altering app state
Submitting trial-linked prompt injections
Exploiting UI behavior to trigger report output without checkout
...constitute a violation of Section 14.3 – Abuse Monitoring and may result in revoked access, fraud flags, or permanent ban.
23.18 Bundled Discounts
23.18 Bundled Discounts
Chariot may, at its discretion, offer bundled pricing or temporary discount packages that reduce the per-report cost based on purchase quantity, app onboarding flow, user engagement, or promotional triggers. These bundles are optional, time-limited, and governed by the terms below.
23.18.1 Example Bundles and Offers
Examples of promotional bundles may include (but are not limited to):
Multi-pack pricing: 3 Standard Reports for $39.99
First-time user discount: 25% off your first Premium Report
Onboarding bundle: Free Standard Report with first subscription
Referral reward: One free report unlocked after 3 successful referrals
Seasonal sales: Tier-based discounts for a limited time (e.g., Black Friday, summer events)
All such offers are subject to expiration, availability limits, and geographic exclusions.
23.18.2 Non-Transferable and Non-Refundable
Bundled reports may only be used within the purchasing user’s account
They may not be transferred, gifted, resold, or split among multiple accounts or email addresses
Partial refunds will not be issued for unused reports within a bundle
Report credits from bundles may expire if not used within the stated promotional window (e.g., 30 or 90 days)
Unused bundled credits are forfeited upon expiration.
23.18.3 Access Scope
Each report in a bundle is tied to a single vehicle session (see Section 23.10 – Access Limits)
Report features included in a bundle will match the tier level advertised (e.g., 3x Standard Reports = no Premium access)
Bundled discounts do not override feature limitations, access durations, or download windows set in other sections (e.g., 23.9, 23.12)
23.18.4 Behavior-Based Triggers
Chariot may apply personalized discounts or bundles based on:
Past report purchase history
Subscription engagement or trial expiration
Time since account signup or app install
Referrals or campaign participation
These dynamic offers are not guaranteed, are non-negotiable, and may differ across users.
23.18.5 Program Modification Rights
Chariot reserves the right to:
Modify or discontinue bundled offerings at any time
Limit bundle availability by region, platform (iOS, Android, web), or device
Restrict use of discounts in combination with other offers (e.g., coupon stacking)
All pricing and promotional structures are governed by Section 23.2 – Pricing Structure and subject to Chariot’s overarching Terms.
23.19 Language & Region Limitations
23.19 Language & Region Limitations
Chariot reports are currently optimized for English-language output and U.S.-centric vehicle documentation. While the platform may be accessed globally, the accuracy and relevance of report content may vary based on user location, document origin, and regulatory region.
23.19.1 English-Only Output
All AI-generated commentary, risk summaries, and valuation insights are delivered in English only.
Chariot does not currently support multilingual output, translation services, or region-specific language toggles.
Submissions written in other languages may produce degraded or incomplete results, and no refund will be issued in such cases.
Future language support may be offered under separate terms or subscription tiers.
23.19.2 U.S.-Centric Standards
Reports are designed to interpret documentation, contract terms, and vehicle identifiers most commonly used in United States markets, including:
U.S. title status conventions (e.g., salvage, rebuilt, clean)
Dealership quote structures and financing disclosures
American VIN format (17-character NHTSA standard)
State-based sales taxes, fees, and regulatory disclosures
Chariot does not guarantee the accuracy or applicability of outputs involving:
EU documentation, including registration cards, green slips, and service books
Canadian or LATAM market-specific valuation tables
Asia-Pacific documentation, including JDM auction sheets or non-Latin contracts
Local insurance, emissions, or tax codes outside U.S. borders
23.19.3 Region-Specific Limitations
Valuation estimates may rely on U.S.-based data sources and may not reflect international resale value.
Contract parsing is trained on documents issued by North American dealerships and lenders. Regional formats may be misinterpreted or missed entirely.
Visual cues (e.g., license plate formats, inspection stickers) may not trigger AI recognition outside the U.S.
You are solely responsible for verifying whether Chariot’s outputs are appropriate for your country, jurisdiction, or intended transaction.
23.19.4 Global Use at Your Own Risk
By using Chariot outside the United States:
You acknowledge and accept reduced accuracy, incomplete parsing, or unsupported formats
You waive any claims arising from misinterpretation of foreign documents or regional valuation mismatches
You agree to localize or verify all report insights before relying on them for commercial or legal decisions
23.20 Platform Availability
23.20 Platform Availability
Chariot’s One-Time Report system is accessible across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, and the Chariot web portal (when enabled). While report content remains consistent, the purchase flow, payment processor, and delivery experience may vary depending on the platform used.
23.20.1 Supported Platforms
As of the date of this Agreement, Chariot supports report purchases through:
iOS (Apple App Store)
Android (Google Play Store)
Web application via browser (when explicitly enabled by Chariot)
Chariot reserves the right to limit, suspend, or modify report access on any given platform without notice.
23.20.2 Platform-Specific Payment Systems
Each platform uses its own billing infrastructure:
iOS purchases are processed via Apple’s In-App Purchase (IAP) system
Android purchases are processed through Google Play Billing
Web purchases may use Stripe, PayPal, or other direct gateways
Chariot does not control or mediate platform-side processing times, taxes, refund timelines, or fee structures. See Section 23.5 – Refund Policy for refund routing instructions.
23.20.3 Delivery Experience by Platform
On mobile apps, reports are typically delivered within the app interface, with optional push notifications
On web, report links may be sent via in-app dashboard or email depending on the account setup
PDF exports may behave differently across platforms (e.g., automatically downloaded vs. emailed)
While Chariot strives to standardize the experience, minor UI and UX differences are expected between platforms and do not constitute a service defect.
23.20.4 Feature Access Differences
Some platform-specific limitations may apply, including:
Promo code redemption may only be available on web
Bundled report offers may vary by app store
Subscription plans may offer different integrations depending on OS-level APIs
Users are advised to consult platform-specific app store listings or onboarding screens for current capabilities.
23.20.5 Sync Across Devices
Reports are linked to your Chariot account, not your device. This means:
You can view purchased reports across platforms if logged into the same account
Switching between mobile and web will preserve access, subject to Section 23.9 – Storage and Access
You are responsible for maintaining access credentials across platforms
23.21 Third-Party Licensors
23.21 Third-Party Licensors
Some of the content, insights, and analysis included in Chariot reports are powered in part by third-party data providers, AI model vendors, and software licensors. By purchasing or accessing a report, you acknowledge and agree to the usage conditions of these embedded technologies.
23.21.1 Licensed Data Sources
Report components may include valuation estimates, vehicle specifications, contract format libraries, or external lookup integrations provided under license from:
Automotive market aggregators and vehicle history data vendors
Pricing intelligence APIs (e.g., fair market value, depreciation curves)
Document parsing libraries with pre-trained contract analysis logic
NLP models and large language models from AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source libraries)
These licensors retain ownership of their respective datasets and tools and may impose downstream licensing terms that apply to your use of the report.
23.21.2 Binding via Use
You agree that:
Accessing any portion of a report that includes such third-party content constitutes acceptance of those licensors' terms, whether or not they are explicitly restated in the report
Chariot may be required to provide notice of such terms in metadata, footer text, or attribution fields embedded in reports
Licensing obligations may extend to use-based restrictions, such as prohibitions on reverse engineering, dataset extraction, or commercial redistribution
See Section 23.11 – Sharing & Redistribution and 23.12 – PDF Export for usage limitations.
23.21.3 Subject to Change
Chariot reserves the right to:
Add, remove, or replace third-party licensors at any time
Modify report features or content in response to licensing changes
Temporarily suspend or alter valuation output or parsing behavior due to vendor availability, contract termination, or upstream data issues
These changes do not entitle the user to refund or retroactive content guarantees.
23.21.4 Enforcement and Compliance
If you violate the downstream terms of any embedded data source—such as by extracting pricing tables, sharing model-derived valuations, or republishing AI-generated contract interpretations:
You may be subject to account penalties or legal exposure from both Chariot and the originating licensor
Chariot reserves the right to revoke report access, disable offending features, or cooperate with the licensor in enforcing IP restrictions
You agree to use all third-party–powered content only for personal, lawful, and non-commercial purposes, consistent with Chariot’s Terms and all embedded licenses.
23.22 One-Time Use
23.22 One-Time Use
Each Chariot report is designed as a single-use, input-bound informational snapshot generated at the time of purchase. By purchasing a report, you acknowledge and accept that it represents a non-refreshable output tied to a specific session and dataset.
23.22.1 Frozen at Time of Submission
Reports are generated using the inputs you submit at the moment of checkout—including VINs, photos, and documents—and reflect the AI model’s interpretation of those materials at that point in time.
Market values, risk assessments, and vehicle condition insights are not dynamic and do not update automatically as conditions change.
This snapshot is final and does not entitle you to a “live” or continually updated version.
23.22.2 No Refreshes or Post-Generation Updates
You are not entitled to:
Automatic valuation updates if market prices change
Revised commentary if better photos or new documents become available
Ongoing flag monitoring, report evolution, or AI-driven re-checks
Reprocessing due to new model upgrades or feature rollouts
If you require updated analysis, a new report must be purchased (see Section 23.13 – Re-analysis or Revisions).
23.22.3 Inputs Define Scope
Your final report is scoped strictly to the:
Exact vehicle inputs (e.g., VIN, license plate, image files) submitted
Documents uploaded at time of processing
Model state and system configuration present during the report session
Chariot does not retroactively regenerate or upgrade past reports to reflect future changes in AI logic, pricing systems, or product features.
23.22.4 Distinct from Subscription Services
This one-time nature is distinct from Chariot’s subscription offerings, which may grant access to ongoing tools, chat sessions, or usage credits—but do not apply retroactively to prior report purchases unless specifically bundled.
See Section 23.17 – No Trial Access and Section 24.1 – Token Usage (if applicable) for distinctions between report sessions and subscription-based access models.
23.23 Model Updates and Retroactive Reports
23.23 Model Updates and Retroactive Reports
Chariot’s vehicle analysis features are powered by evolving AI models and supporting systems. From time to time, Chariot may release upgrades that improve reasoning quality, valuation precision, risk detection, document parsing, or vision capabilities. These improvements do not apply retroactively to past reports.
23.23.1 No Retroactive Regeneration
When Chariot updates or replaces its underlying AI models, you are not entitled to:
A reprocessed version of any previously purchased report
A free “model refresh” of an old session under new algorithms
A replacement copy incorporating new valuation logic, language improvements, or output formats
All reports are permanently tied to the model version in use at the time of original generation. See Section 23.22 – One-Time Use.
23.23.2 New Insight Requires New Purchase
If you wish to benefit from:
A newer model's enhanced contract parsing
Expanded visual recognition capabilities
Improved tone, clarity, or error reduction in language
Access to newly released risk flag types, valuation data, or audit tools
...you must initiate a new report purchase using current inputs and pricing.
23.23.3 Version Drift Warning
Chariot makes no guarantee that:
Outputs from older reports will align with outputs from newly generated ones—even for the same vehicle
Flags, risk levels, or summaries will remain consistent across models
Interpretation logic will be backwards compatible or explainable against earlier versions
Differences between reports may be the result of AI version drift, not input or system error.
23.23.4 Archive Stability Disclaimer
Past reports are archived as-is. If model updates cause future reports to change in structure, tone, or vocabulary, Chariot will not modify existing reports to match or conform.
Reports remain a reflection of the platform's capabilities at the point of generation—not a live or evolving document.
23.23.5 Product Roadmap Disclaimers
Chariot may announce upcoming improvements, planned feature releases, or expanded model access. You agree that:
Purchasing a report prior to the release of a new model does not entitle you to that model's output
Future model performance or new features are not retroactively applied to historical purchases
Model access tiers may be gated by price, plan, or platform and are subject to change
23.24 User Retention Rights
23.24 User Retention Rights
Chariot grants users a perpetual, non-commercial license to retain, download, and privately archive reports they have lawfully purchased—even if their subscription ends, trial expires, or account is deactivated.
23.24.1 Long-Term Retention Rights
If you have lawfully purchased a One-Time Report, you may:
Download and store the report indefinitely in your personal files
Print the report for your own records, sale transactions, or documentation purposes
Access the file offline, even if you no longer use the Chariot platform
These rights survive account deactivation, app uninstallation, or service unavailability, provided the report was downloaded during the active access window (see Section 23.9 – Storage and Access).
23.24.2 Scope of Retention License
You may retain purchased reports for personal use only. This includes:
Reference during private sales, inspections, or ownership transfer
Recordkeeping for insurance, warranty, or loan purposes
Internal use in fleets, dealer records, or automotive portfolios (if purchased under correct license)
You may not:
Redistribute the report publicly or commercially (see Section 23.11)
Edit, overwrite, or white-label the contents
Use old reports in new listings, sales funnels, or remarketing after the original vehicle condition has changed
Rehost the report on third-party sites or marketplaces
23.24.3 No Ongoing Sync or Support
While you may retain the PDF or saved version of the report:
It will no longer sync with your Chariot account after cancellation
It will not receive AI-driven updates, enhancements, or reprocessing
Chariot is not obligated to provide backup copies if the user fails to download within the 90-day window (see Section 23.9)
Retained reports are considered frozen exports, not live products.
23.24.4 Account Closure Considerations
If your account is voluntarily closed or automatically deactivated:
You retain rights to any reports you previously downloaded
You lose in-app access to reports not saved before account closure
Reactivating your account does not guarantee recovery of archived or expired reports unless otherwise preserved
We encourage all users to download and archive their reports prior to subscription changes, device resets, or account deletions.
23.25 Clause Survival
23.25 Clause Survival
The terms, restrictions, rights, and disclaimers defined in Section 23 – One-Time Reports shall survive the termination of your Chariot account, expiration of access windows, and even the discontinuation of the Chariot service itself. These provisions remain enforceable regardless of platform status, subscription state, or report delivery method.
23.25.1 Surviving Legal Terms
The following elements of Section 23 remain in effect permanently:
Usage restrictions (e.g., Section 23.10 – Access Limits, Section 23.11 – Redistribution Prohibited)
Intellectual property and licensing conditions (e.g., Section 23.21 – Third-Party Licensors)
Liability disclaimers and output limitations (e.g., Section 23.6 – Informational Use, Section 23.7 – Accuracy Limits)
Refund exclusions and access cutoffs (e.g., Section 23.5 – Refund Policy, Section 23.9 – Storage and Access)
Perpetual rights to retain privately archived reports (e.g., Section 23.24 – Retention Rights)
These clauses are binding whether or not you continue using the Chariot service.
23.25.2 Termination or Sunset of Service
If Chariot partially or fully discontinues its report offerings, shuts down service, is acquired, or undergoes structural change:
Your access to new reports may cease, but prior obligations (e.g., no redistribution, no retroactive reprocessing) remain enforceable
You may retain previously downloaded reports under the original license scope
You may not claim entitlements to future models, refreshes, or compensatory versions
This ensures that the intellectual property, risk disclosures, and user boundaries associated with report use do not expire when the account or platform ends.
23.25.3 No Rights Waived by Inactivity
If you stop using Chariot, delete the app, or lapse in subscription:
You are not released from any past agreement relating to how reports were generated, used, or shared
The license terms, limitations, and disclaimers associated with each report remain in full effect
Continued enforcement of these terms is essential to protect Chariot’s systems, its partners’ intellectual property, and the integrity of past deliverables.
